Ammonium Dibutyl Dithiophosphate (ADD, also known as Dithiophosphate BA), formula (C4H9O)2PSSNH4, CAS 1533-42-2, is a flotation reagent for sulfide ores that combines collecting and frothing functions in one molecule. Supplied as a gray-white powder, it disperses and dissolves well in weakly alkaline pulps. The product guarantees an active content of at least 90.0% and is shipped directly from our plant in  Shandong, China.

Main features and applications:

Strong collecting power for lead, zinc and copper sulfide minerals; the built-in frothing property can partly replace frother dosage and simplify the reagent regime.

Better selectivity against pyrite than xanthate-type collectors, favorable for zinc-sulfur, lead-zinc and copper-sulfur separation.

Suitable for polymetallic sulfide ores (Cu-Pb-Zn), single sulfide ores, partially oxidized mixed ores, and scavenging/tailings retreatment circuits.

Typical dosage 20–100 g/t depending on ore type and reagent regime; bench-scale flotation tests are recommended to determine the optimum dosage.
