Storage Standards For Foaming Agents

Foaming agents should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated, and cool environment, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and high humidity. High temperatures or humidity can easily cause powdered products to cake or liquid solutions to lose their foaming efficacy; furthermore, such conditions may accelerate the degradation of certain natural ingredients. The storage area must be kept clean and isolated from chemicals such as acids, alkalis, and strong oxidizers to prevent unintended chemical reactions or contamination.

Dry powdered foaming agents require sealed packaging-such as plastic drums, laminated bags, or airtight plastic canisters-to prevent moisture absorption and subsequent caking. Liquid foaming agents should be stored in leak-proof, airtight containers to prevent prolonged exposure to air, which can lead to a decline in performance. All packaging containers must be clearly labeled with the product name, batch number, production date, and expiration date; furthermore, these products should not be stored in the same areas as food, pharmaceuticals, or other materials susceptible to contamination.

Foaming agents should not be subjected to prolonged exposure to high temperatures or intense light; the integrity of the packaging and the condition of the product should be inspected periodically. Once opened, the product should be used as promptly as possible; any unused portions must be resealed securely for storage. During handling and dispensing, precautions must be taken to prevent dust dispersion or liquid spills, thereby ensuring both product quality stability and operational safety.
