Qingdao, Shandong, China, September 23, 2026 - A five-day flotation technology training program hosted by Bitop Bihope Qingdao Mining Co., Ltd. ("Bitop Bihope") concluded today. Trainees from Jilin Province completed the full course and received their certificates of completion.
Running from September 19 to 23, the program combined classroom instruction, laboratory tests and on-site practice. The curriculum covered the fundamentals of froth flotation, ore property analysis, flotation reagent selection and dosage control, flowsheet design and optimization, as well as equipment operation and routine maintenance. Under the guidance of Bitop Bihope's technical team, the trainees conducted flotation tests on ore samples and took part in hands-on sessions in the production and testing areas, gaining a practical understanding of how reagent systems and process parameters affect flotation performance and recovery.
At the closing session, both sides reviewed the training results and exchanged views on applying flotation technology in actual production. The trainees said the program had deepened their understanding of flotation theory and process control and would be of direct help to their daily work.
