Bitop Bihope Qingdao Mining Co., Ltd. has successfully completed flotation testwork on gold ore samples from an Uzbekistan client, with outstanding metallurgical results. The third-party assay reports have been released, and the client has expressed strong satisfaction with the outcomes. Further cooperation discussions are now in progress.
The testwork was conducted on primary gold ore samples sent by the client from Uzbekistan. Through a rigorous flotation test program combined with an optimized reagent scheme developed by our technical team, the following excellent metallurgical indicators were achieved:
Feed grade: 0.23 g/t
Concentrate grade: 3.22 g/t (enrichment ratio of approximately 14 times)
Tailings grade: 0.04 g/t (extremely low gold loss)
Mass yield: approximately 5.98%
Gold recovery: approximately 83.72%
The flotation circuit employed a "one rougher, three scavengers, and two cleaners" flowsheet, with the addition of modifiers, collectors, and frothers to achieve efficient separation between target minerals and gangue. The flotation performance was characterized by clear mineralization and stable separation.
Notably, the client confirmed that their mine's average feed grade is approximately 6 g/t – significantly higher than the 0.23 g/t sample submitted for this testwork. The client commented: "The average grade at our deposit is 6 grams per tonne. Therefore, we are satisfied with the data you have provided us." Following the validation of the test data, the client has further inquired about test sample weight and other technical details to prepare for pilot-scale trials and industrial implementation. The two parties are now actively engaged in detailed cooperation discussions.
This successful testwork once again demonstrates Bitop Bihope's technical expertise in low-grade gold ore flotation and reagent optimization. Even when processing feed grades below 0.3 g/t, our team achieved over 83% recovery while maintaining tailings grades below 0.05 g/t – a testament to our commitment to maximizing resource utilization.
