BTBH Provides Flotation Test Support For Long-Term Client To Resolve Production Issues

At noon today, a long-term client of our company (BTBH) visited our laboratory on an urgent basis, bringing ore samples and recirculating water samples, due to technical challenges encountered in their production operations. They commissioned us to conduct flotation tests to identify the root causes and seek effective solutions.

Our professional technical team responded promptly, conducting systematic analyses of the ore and water samples provided, and carrying out comparative flotation tests. The test results revealed that the current ore feed differed significantly from previous batches, requiring timely adjustments to the reagent regime in actual production to accommodate the changing ore characteristics. Meanwhile, the recirculating water was found to have an acidic pH, which noticeably affected flotation performance. Further analysis of the ore samples indicated that the iron content decreased after flotation, caused by acid dissolution of iron minerals, while the sulfur content in the ore was also relatively low.

In response to these issues, our team, based on the experimental data, put forward a professional recommendation: to conduct a high-gradient magnetic separation test prior to the flotation circuit to pre-concentrate the iron ore, thereby optimizing the overall beneficiation process and improving overall recovery.

The client expressed high appreciation for our swift response and professional technical capabilities. Our company (BTBH) remains committed to the philosophy of "technology-driven and service-first," providing clients with comprehensive technical support ranging from ore analysis, process optimization, to reagent regime adjustments, helping them effectively resolve practical production challenges.
